The First Week of Summer

For those of you who tried reading and commenting on my posts yesterday. I apologize. Comment Luv had a new plug in for Blogger and I tried it. Obviously, it is not working on my blog because no one could leave a comment! Thanks for letting me know Marci!!

Last Wednesday was the end of school and the start of the summer after my 6 year olds Kindergarten graduation. She was so excited that she got the attention of everyone else and they were turning to us saying “Awe, she is so adorable.” Look at that smile!

I also got to enjoy the last day myself. I was asked to help with the youth group at their end of school swim party. Working with the youth outside of Sunday School is something I feel I am being led to do. Although it has already been a battle for many reasons but I do know it is where I belong and it will happen.

Anyway, it’s almost been a full week home with the kids and it’s not going too bad! My three year old, Dalton is used to being home by himself…having everything including Mama to himself! So that part has been interesting, to say the least. He is slowly getting used to it though!

Last week was crazy to see the least. It was so loud at my house. Everyone fighting, pretty much for attention from the other. This week though started off awesome! Yesterday about noon it started to down pour. At that time my kids were on the TV and I was on the computer. It was lightning so I made them turn off the TV and I turned off the computer. Then they were getting bored so I got the handy envelope out (hoping they picked one for inside since it was raining cats and dogs!). My son picked make a fort. So they all worked together. All 4 amazingly!! And this is what ended up in my living room! Including my 11 year old, Tyler!

If it wasn’t for my first born, Austen, it would’ve been rather interesting! He is my helper. I don’t even have to ask him to help, he just does it! He’s a good big brother and my (not so little) helper at home! I was thankful for him this past week!

  3. your children are all so cute! How does your daughter like having 3 brothers? I love the pic. of her...she is beautiful! I am sitting here now wondering if we should make a fort since it isn't too nice out today. It's so simple but kids love it...good idea you had building a fort!!!
