Good News!

I felt the need to write this, it's been eating at me for weeks... I hear you God!! Yes I will still do Thirsty Thursday!

"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news" Isaiah 52:7

I have a myspace account and a facebook account that I use mainly to keep in touch with family and friends. Some of my family and friends are believers of Christ, some are not. This does not keep me from telling what my status really is! If I have a day that the devil is trying to get me, I announce it and write that I believe in my Lord and Savior to get rid of that irritating devil! If I have a day that I just want the "world" to know that I am in love with Jesus, I say it with JOY! I refuse to hide who I am, if they don't like it, oh well. That sounds harsh but I have not had one friend, stop being my friend. If they don't like it or if it's not doing something for them...they would delete me from their friends list. Sometimes I see someone needs a prayer or someone desperately needs to know the Good News, I announce it. No, I don't single them out...I'm kind of sneaky about it. ;)

If only those who don't believe knew who Jesus is and what He has done and continues to do even for the unbeliever!! WOW! You would be in awe! I love all my friends and family and want them to believe so bad, it hurts! I want them to experience what I do on a daily basis. I want them to not just be happy but have JOY in their lives! How awesome is it that because we are believers every situation is totally different from the unbelievers... we have hope, love, faith and so much more ...something to lean on and hang on too! Thank you God for that!!! The peace that you have when you know someone is there carrying you through the tough times, oh how I wish they knew!! I know my Lord carries me daily! We are human (even as a believer) and we have times we question if we will have the money to pay that bill (oh I am so guilty) or how we can live without that loved one. Then it hits us, we know everything will be okay because our Lord is going to get us through. He is going to protect us, love us and help us through anything and everything!!! God is Good. I pray for all the unbelievers that they can experience what I have!

Do you have unbelievers around you on a daily basis? How do you let them know about the Good News? Are you an unbeliever and want to know more? (please tell me, I will do everything I can to help you learn more!) For the believers and the unbelievers...Are you willing to follow me through the Bible, front to back, weekly? A hint...Feeding time!

Many, many blessings to you all on this Tuesday!

  1. I can't say I have many unbelievers in my life but I can say that I have aLOT of "believers" who aren't living for the Lord. They will speak about Him in passing but they aren't seeking His will for their life. That makes the biggest difference! Even the devil "believes", it's the action we take with that belief that's the key. Wonderful blog ;0 And sure I'll be happy to go with you through the Bible weekly. Where do I sign up? LOL

  2. So True!! It makes a true difference!! Thanks for the compliment. I will let you know about the Weekly Bible Study!

  3. Hi Chele! I'm visiting for the first time after seeing your comment on Julia's blog about financial fasting. I too wish everyone had that kind of hope. He's carried me throgh so much. Let me know about the Bible study...I'd love to join in! :o)

  4. Thanks Heidi! I thought you would! :)

Dayna, thanks for commenting. You'll have to check back. I most likely will start next week. I tried going to your blog but there was not a place to contact you. You can email me your email address. I'll let you know that way!
