KID FREE
My Mother in law came and took all 4 kids this morning. She was only supposed to take the two smaller ones this time but she couldn’t do it when she got here! So she took all 4. I came in and sat down, looked around and had no clue where to start!! I want to take some down time for myself but I also want to do so much in the house while they are all gone. So I am going to do both! I am taking some time for me and I am going to clean house too!! Let’s see how much energy I have to do all of this! Ha-ha!
SOME TEARS (Tears of Joy)
I want to give a little shout out to my Daddy! I ALWAYS send a card to him for Father’s Day. Well Daddy…. I procrastinated this time and I am sorry!! Here is a short story of my Daddy.
While growing up, he worked so hard for us to have what we needed. He did a great job! Although he worked 24/7 because my parents owned a restaurant, I remember him coming in and giving me a kiss very late at night! Yes Daddy, I pretended I was sleeping but I knew you were there! Thank you! He struggled with drinking all of those years (this is why I refuse to work in a bar business anymore). Things changed and I am so thankful!!! This is my Daddy and my Mom, the best parents a girl can have!
To my Daddy,
I am here to tell the world how proud I am of you!! Who you have become. I’ll never forget a little over 6 years ago when you quit drinking! You did a complete turn around in your life and changed ours too! Thank you for being strong and doing it for the people you love!! (really you did it for you too!) Your grandkids love you and I love you with all my heart! I can’t express enough how proud I am of you!! God is good!

SOME LAUGHTER
Okay now that I can’t see cause of tears…. I need a laugh so here is what my son did this week. He is so much like his Daddy. No his Dad never did this but he has a sense of humor like him for sure!!
We were all sitting in the living room, he disappeared into his room for a few minutes and came out like this….

YAY to Mother In Laws who are willing to take FOUR kids!!!! I LOVE those types :) Mine won't even take TWO!! LOL YAY to some much needed self time. YAY to a dad that fights his demons and WINS! What a hero :) AND YAY to little guys with undies on their heads =0 LOL
