Weekly Bible Study information - Feeding Time

My Women of Faith Study Bible (NIV) was given to me by my Preacher's Wife (and great friend) back in 2003. Well in the front it says it is from my Church Family but I KNOW she picked it out! She knew what I needed to grow in Christ. I needed something more than just scripture, I needed something to study with!

The Contents of this Bible are:
Scriptures (of course!)
Book Introductions for each book of the Bible
Weekly Studies
Character Sketches (Women of the Bible)
Study notes in the margins
Quotes from the 14th century through 18th century women
Concordance

I love this Bible, it is the best! The only thing is I have never been to any Women of Faith Conferences. I hear that they are awesome! I will make it to one some day soon!!

FEEDING TIME

This is the Bible I will be using for Feeding Time here every Monday. No, I am not going to use their studies but I am going to read it all and come up with my own for us to do together! It will help me stay accountable (which is very important to me!) I am not going to specify how long this will be. I am going to let God work in me and through me! I will specify each week what I want you to read for the next Weekly study.

We will start in Genesis (my as well start from the Beginning!) There are so many great stories in Genesis, it's going to be hard narrowing them down! I also will have questions to ponder. I would like you to comment but you don't have to. Please let me know you are reading by subscribing by email, RSS, Follow on Blogger or simply email me and let me know! I'd do a forum but I don't know how to do that on here (if anyone knows how to do that, holler!) Also, feel free to post any prayer request on here at anytime or you can contact me by email.

Week 1 assignment: Read Genesis 1-3.

Meet back here on Monday for the "class"

If you would like to display this button on your blog, feel free and it will be much appreciated!

What kind of Bible to you use? Will you be joining us? Would you like a reminder through your email? Let me know! If you do not have a Bible please tell me, I will help however I can with that! Let's stay accountable to each other!

Feeding Time means:

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

Matthew 5:6 (NIV) The Beautitudes

May God Bless you all day long!

  1. I will do it, possibly an email reminder might me helpful to me. You know me. haha Personally I have a several bibles but my favorites are two student bibles I have. One was a book blessing that I wrote about, April gave it to me. It's helped me so much with TLC. My NIV student bible #1 is my personal favorite though. It's been with me through my entire walk and God has done alot of talking to me through that bible. Yours sounds awesome and Chasin's even better. :)

  2. Haha! Erika is talking about my husband's bible which is a NIV Life Application Study Bible. I told him I was going to start using it if he didn't start making use of it (he knows I write in mine etc.) So he started to read starting in The New Testament...haha! His is a good Bible too!
