Some quick Shout outs!

A quick little post to let you know I didn't forget about you all! It's been a great weekend away and for that I am grateful! Although I felt guilty for not having my oldest two with us and guilt overwhelmed me for not being at church on Sunday... but I believe God had me where he wanted me. I'll have more about that tomorrow!

I came home yesterday and was tired but refreshed from the weekend. We had a quick dinner, worked on some school projects with the kids and went to bed early (had to catch up on some much needed beauty sleep!) Now today, I woke up with a headache and have lots to do and catch up on. So I don't have a menu for the week yet but hope to have it up later today! I didn't do too well last week on The Eat more Fruit and Veggies Challenge. Although, definitely better than normal. I know I will do even better this week! I had a lot to catch up on my Google Reader this morning and read some great posts that I would like to share with you.

Did you ever think that because you are a Mom you aren't allowed to have some time to yourself? Ang over at the Creative Mama wrote an awesome post about the beauty of quiet. Please take time to read it. You won't regret it!!

Sherri at Serene Journey wrote a blog over at Simple Mom about Family Traditions that I really enjoyed too! I was always taught family comes first! Well after God of course!!

Also, go to Mandi's blog over at Organizing Your Way and read her post today on the Spring Cleaning Party-Wrap up for an easy list of links to Simple Mom's Spring Cleaning Party. The party is over but like me, it will be easier to go back when I start my personal Spring Cleaning Party next week!! Thanks to Simple Mom for doing this. So many great tips and help!

As a Mom and wife, I know that we feel too busy sometimes. I really want to give a shout out to a great blog to subscribe to. Marci over at Overcoming Busy has been an awesome read everytime! I just never thought of what busy really meant until I read her About section. WOW. Some serious testimony. Ever since I read this, I have thought about it everytime I think about being busy. Busy is not good!

So until I get myself under control from our weekend so I don't feel busy, I am done here until some much needed items are finished around my home!
Have a beautiful Monday!

Many blessings to you!

  1. Remember that guilt is a form of busyness, too! Don't let it get you! It will get in the way of what God has for you. Thanks for the shout out! Have a great week!
